KING PIN LOCK

King Pin Locks are locks used to secure trailers when left unattended. They are applied over the king pin on a trailer so as to preclude moving the trailer with a standard tractor's fifth wheel. These devices are made of stainless steel and they employ a unique security key system. Locks can be keyed the same or keyed differently. King Pin Locks require application beneath the trailer which can be dangerous and it is certainly dirty. King Pin Locks have been around for many years and they are reasonable in their application and effectiveness.
